Current Operations
In July 2007
Ariadne
entered into an agreement with NSW Department of Lands to operate and redevelop the Batemans Bay Marina. Although the NSW government still own the land, Ariadne now manage the marina.
In October 2007 management of the marina was transferred to Ariadne from the Batemans Bay Marina Co-operative who were previously managing the marina on behalf of the NSW Department of Lands.
Ariadne has worked hard to ensure that a smooth transition occurred in the management and operation of the site.
The marina currently has 126 wet berths and a small number of short term berths. Diesel refuelling facilities and waste pump-out are available, and a number of maritime service providers operate from the marina providing boat repairs, rigging services, outboard and mechanical engine repair services and marine and fishing supplies. The marina has a maintenance hardstand, wharf and slipway.
