Ariadne is committed to ensuring the proposed marina is designed, constructed and operated in an ecologically and environmentally responsible manner.
Ariadne is working with a number of specialist environmental consultants to undertake full environmental impact assessment as part of the project application process.
The new marina will have intensified usage, but a full environmental management system is proposed with leading practice facilities for boat clean down, sullage pumping, water reuse and refuelling. The environmental systems will significantly exceed that of the current marina operations.
The increased dry stack boat storage proposed for the site has significant environmental benefits through the reduced need for anti-fouling agents for wet berthing, and other contaminants that may enter the water from wet berthed vessels.
