Environmental Assessment
Ariadne is working with a team of specialist consultants to undertake a comprehensive environmental impact assessment to inform detailed design and finalise the project application. The results of the environmental impact studies will be documented in an environment assessment report and will be submitted to the NSW Department of Planning to support the project application.
In response to requirements set down for the project by the Director General of Planning, Ariadne is currently finalising a number of technical studies to understand the potential environmental impact and to identify appropriate management and mitigation measures for:
Traffic flow, access to and from the site, including road capacity and parking requirements
Heritage impacts, including Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal
Flora and fauna impacts, including aquatic systems, threatened populations and endangered species
Socio-economic impacts
Coastal processes
Water quality impacts
Visual impacts and urban / landscaping amenity
Noise and vibration issues
Air quality issues
Land use impacts
Potential environmental and safety hazards
Greenhouse gas emissions and climate change issues
Construction and operational issues.
All required technical studies are currently underway. Electronic copies of all studies will be loaded onto this website once they are finalised.
